Eleanor M. Wiley

Funeral service for Eleanor M. Wiley, 91, of Eastlake, will be 11 AM Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Family will receive friends 4-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Eleanor passed away November 9, 2017 in Madison Twp. Born August 5, 1926 in Cleveland, she has lived in Eastlake since 1948.

Eleanor worked as a cafeteria aide for the Willoughby-Eastlake Schools. She was an active member and volunteer at JFK Senior Center in Eastlake. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Willoughby Chapter 202 and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary Western Reserve Chapter 42.

Survivors include her step-daughter, Peggy Ward; step-son, Charles Wiley; many grandchildren; brother, George J. (Sandi) Grose; sisters, Hazel Zimmer and Florence Hubrath.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John M. Grieger; second husband, Robert J. Goshe; third husband, Charles E. Wiley; step-daughter, Patricia L. Stinnett; brothers, Wilfrid Grose, Jr. and Frederick Grose; sister, Dorothy Grose.

Final resting place will be in Willoughby Cemetery, following the service.

Family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, c/o Al Koran Shrine, 1000 E. Edgerton Rd., Broadview Hts., OH 44147.
