Elmer R. Noch

Funeral services for Elmer R. Noch, 96, of Mentor, will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the Willoughby Hills Friends Church, 2846 SOM Center Rd., Willoughby Hills.

Mr. Noch passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Willoughby.

He was born September 12, 1919 in Cleveland, to Frank and Martha Zalewski Noch.

Mr. Noch was formerly employed at Electric Products Company in Cleveland for more than 40 years. He joined the Civilian Conservation Corp. at the age of 16. Elmer was an avid golfer, a ballroom dancer with his late wife and volunteered at the Golden Living Nursing Home. He had a strong faith and was active at Willoughby Hills Friends Church.

Survivors are his daughters Marianne (Roy) Dobranic, of Eastlake and Sharon (John) Barber, of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Michelle Winfield and David (Ruth) Dobranic and one great-granddaughter, Alexa Dobranic.

He joins loving wife of 67 years, Genevieve (Domagalski) Noch, who passed in 2009.

Family will receive friends 4-8 P.M. Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Final resting place will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park.
