Elvira M. Flynn

Private graveside services and interment were held at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township for Elvira M. (Lausche) Flynn, 94, of Willoughby Hills.

Mrs. Flynn passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 at her home.

Born February 18, 1929 in Cleveland, she has lived in Willoughby Hills for the past 67 years.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Willoughby and was also a member of the Famous Cleveland Browns Musical Majorettes and the Hillcrest Concert Band where she played the trombone.

She loved her animals and rescuing animals. Her favorite summertime activity involved taking her grandchildren and great-grandchildren on yearly adventures.

Mrs. Flynn worked in purchasing at Morrison Products in Cleveland for many years.

Survivors are her children, John C. (Sabrina) Flynn and Barbara A. (Heath) Miller; grandchildren, Joshua (Jessica) Flynn, Cassandra (Ric) Nelson and Jason (Rachel) Flynn and great-grandchildren, Isabella, Kanin, Teagan, Piper, Lily and Charles.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles E. Flynn on August 31, 2007. Her parents, John and Irma (Hajas) Lausche are also deceased.
