Ernest Eldridge Bracken

Graveside service and interment for Ernest E. Bracken Jr., 92, of Mentor will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 10, 2016 at Mentor Cemetery, 6881 Hopkins Rd. (Section 27). Please meet at the grave.

Mr. Bracken passed away June 6, 2016.

He was born July 27, 1923 in North Braddock, PA.

Mr. Bracken was a traffic manager at Diamond Shamrock. He was also a longtime officer and past president of The Traffic Club of Cleveland. He was an avid mall walker and people watcher at The Great Lakes Mall for over 25 years.

Survivors include his children, Kathy (Michael) Merritt, Terry (Cathy) Bracken, Keith Bracken, and Rick Bracken; grandchildren, Chad, Danielle, Meghan, Shannon, Jason, Jennifer, and Shane; great-grandchildren Aubree, Mitchell, Ethan, and Ainsley.

He was preceded in death by his wife Doris J. in 1983; son, Kenneth Bracken in 2011; daughter-in-law Barbara Bracken; grandchildren, Kimberly and Kenneth Michael Bracken and brother Kenneth Bracken.

The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Thursday at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
