Memorial services for Ethel D. (Haug) Roth, 93, of Willoughby, will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Lyons Chapel of the Nason Center at Breckenridge Village, 36859 Ridge Road, Willoughby.
Mrs. Roth passed away Friday, December 25, 2015 at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland.
Born February 22, 1922 in Cleveland, she was a longtime South Euclid resident before moving to Lake County 15 years ago.
She was active in the Ladies’ Masonic organizations and was raised in the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and volunteering at Breckenridge Village and the food pantry at the First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby.
Mrs. Roth was employed by the Lyndhurst Police Department as the secretary for the detective bureau.
Survivors are her sons, George (Patricia) Roth of Mentor, James (Victoria) Roth of Columbus and Robert (Louella) Roth of Broadalbin, NY; grandchildren, Brian Roth, Laura (Jeff) Baca, Thomas Roth, Robert (Amanda) Roth, James (Michelle) Roth, Daniel (Jenna) Roth and Emily Roth; many great-grandchildren and her brother, Kenneth (Jane) Haug of Albuquerque, NM.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1986 and her parents, Emil and Anne Haug.
There will be no calling hours. Private family entombment will be at Knollwood Cemetery. The Rev. S. Shane Nanney of the First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby will officiate at the service.
