Ethel Joan Steigauf

Services for Ethel Joan (Pennell) Steigauf, 92, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be at 1 PM on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM, prior to the service on Wednesday.

Mrs. Steigauf passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Governor’s Pointe Assisted Living in Mentor.

Born November 6, 1929 in Youngstown, she had lived in Eastlake before moving to Stow and then to Mentor last fall.

She was a member of Willo-Lake Church of the Nazarene in Eastlake.

Survivors are her children, Rodney (Janice) Steigauf, Corinne (Joe) Evan, Deborah (Glen) Boston; grandchildren, Amanda Steigauf, Lauren (Andrew) Parma, Nicole (Justin) Trent, Autumn (Sean) O’Neill, Nate (Melissa) Evan, Liam Boston; step grandson, Aaron (Sarah) Komaromy and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Steigauf on May 30, 1994. Her parents, Elmer and Margaret (Marks) Pennell are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
