Funeral service for Evelyn I. (Vernon) Blevins age 75 of Mentor will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2014 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home 4154 Clark Ave. Willoughby.
Mrs. Blevins passed away Tuesday, September 09, 2014 at her home. She was born September 10, 1938 in Uniontown, PA. Mrs. Blevins was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James; Daughters Barb Martin of Eastlake, Darlene (Anthony) Gareau of Independence, Diane (Marc) Goldfarb of Bay Village, and Julie Blevins of Willoughby; son Darrell (Annie) Blevins of Willoughby; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sisters Charlotte Martin and Donna (Jr.) Greenway.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Carrie Vernon; brothers Bob and Bill Vernon; great-granddaughter Elizabeth Mary Martin.
Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp. Online obituary at www.davisbabcock.com
