Evelyn W. Thomas

Evelyn W. (nee: Weber) Thomas, age 100, beloved wife of the late Jack Thomas, who died in 1990; Loving stepmother of Richard Thomas of Monroe, CT ; Jean Clutter of Brookpark, OH and the late Robert Thomas of Tucson, AZ. Dear ‘Nana’ of 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 10 great- great, grandchildren. Born and raised in Cleveland (Collinwood), Ohio, the daughter of the late Edward and Mae (nee: Hummel) Weber, she died November 29, 2016 at Newtown, CT. She was employed at the former Lake Shore Country Club in Bratenahl for 13 years, and also worked for Sherwin Williams as a comptometer operator. After moving to Allentown, PA she became a volunteer for LARC Thrift Shops and was a member of Allentown Business Women’s Club. She loved music, singing, dancing, and fishing. The family will receive friends from 9-10 AM on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at DAVIS-BABCOCK FUNERAL HOME, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby, (44094) where funeral services will begin at 10 AM followed by interment at Acacia Park Cemetery, Mayfield Heights. www.davisbabcock.com
