Private family graveside services and interment will be held at Willoughby Cemetery for Evelyn (Dzama) Wallace, 86, of Chester Township.
Mrs. Wallace passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Holly Hill Nursing Home in Newbury.
Born March 3, 1928 in Cleveland, she has lived in Chester Township for more than 40 years.
She was a member of St. Anselm Catholic Church in Chester Township and enjoyed baking, cooking and entertaining family during the holidays. Her greatest blessings called her grandma. Evelyn’s character was recognizable in all aspects of her life and resulted in an unforgettable lifelong impact on her family and friends. She will be missed by many, but we know she is watching over us with a smile.
Mrs. Wallace was employed at Parker Hannifin Corporation in Wickliffe before her retirement.
Survivors are her children, Jeffrey (Eileen) Wallace of Euclid and Teddi Wallace of Chester Township; daughter-in-law, Melissa Wallace of Willoughby; grandchildren, Chris, Shannen, Kelly, Sara, Steven, Erin and Ted and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wallace, II in 2009; her children, Jack, Fred III and Kitty; her great granddaughter, Alice Beatrice Wallace Morrison; her parents, Stephen and Susan Dzama; four brothers and two sisters.
