Evolene P. Blevins

Services for Evolene P. (Perkins) Blevins, 97, of Mentor, will be at 10 AM on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at The First Baptist Church of South Euclid, 835 Trebisky Road, South Euclid.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mrs. Blevins passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022.

Born April 6, 1925 in Montcalm, WV, she has lived in Lake County for more than 60 years.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of South Euclid.

Survivors are her sons, Larry (Sharon) Blevins of Madison and Ronald Blevins of Mentor; grandchildren, Eric (Tanya) Blevins, Christopher (Amanda) Blevins, Ronald (Brooke) Blevins, Jr., Laura Blevins, Eldon Ray (Cindy) Blevins, Jr. and Patricia Adams; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Brianna, Deven, Ryleigh, Donavin, Lily, Amanda, Ronald III, Kaliey, Rebecca and Wyatt. She also leaves her sisters, Judy (Homer) Hodge, Norma Schrader and her brother, Paul Perkins and many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Cecil, on March 13, 2011 and her son, Eldon Ray Blevins, Sr. on June 15, 1985. Her parents, Luther and Ora (Dunford) Perkins and siblings, David Perkins, Edward Perkins, Beatrice Brown, Vencile Perkins, Hershel Perkins and Darrell Perkins are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township following the service on Thursday.
