Florence Edelman

Funeral services for Florence Edelman, 86, of Willowick, will be 12 Noon on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 12 Noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Florence passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 23, 2021 in Cleveland.

Born April 18, 1935 in Cleveland, she has lived in Willowick for the past 10 years.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors are her children, William (Lisa) Sheck, Cynthia Corby, Eric (Joni) Sheck, Susan Balas, Sandra Berry, Adam Sheck, Kristin Baumgardner, Kathryn Sheck, John Sheck, and Mark (Doreen) Sheck; step-children, Sandra Prater, Judy Bavetz, and Nancy (Joe) Soldonia; grandchildren, Hallie, Daniel, Benjamin, Matthew, Patrick, Shannon, Rhiannon, Ryan, Candice, Robert, Samantha, Matty, Jennifer, Lauren, Luke, Arianne, Jamie, Jocilyn, Katie, Kayla, Myles and many great-grandchildren; and sister, Doris and her daughters, Laurie, Kimberly and Joanie.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gilbert Sheck in 1971; Edward Guida in 2003 and Darwin “Bud” Edelman on August 5, 2021; her parents, Earl and Gertrude (Roth) Carman; siblings, Gladys, Shirley and Robert are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in North Kirtland Cemetery.
