Florence A. Van Dame

Services for Florence A. (Westfall) Van Dame, 92, of Painesville, will be at 10 AM on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mrs. Van Dame passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Country Club Retirement Campus in Ashtabula.

Born May 27, 1922 in Uniontown, PA, she was a longtime Lake County resident before moving to Ashtabula one year ago.

She was a member of Willoughby Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed baking and bowling well into her eighties.

Survivors are her daughter, Pamela (Johnny) Damron of Elkhorn City, KY and son, Gregory Van Dame of Ashtabula; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Van Dame on May 19, 1997. Her parents, Clarence and Ida (Miller) Westfall, two brothers and two sisters are also deceased.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the funeral home. The Rev. C. Darrell Lynn will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
