Frances C. Rose

Services for Frances C. (Rodenbucher) Rose, 91, of Kirtland Hills, will be at 10 AM on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Wednesday,May 17, 2023 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rose passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 at Brookdale Wickliffe.

Born August 19, 1931 in Cleveland, she had lived in Kirtland Hills for 55 years.

She was a member of Mentor United Methodist Church, The Lake County Historical Society and The Old Mentor Foundation. She loved history, genealogy, gardening and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Rose was one of the first female managers at General Electric Corporation at the Nela Park Division, where she was responsible for data processing. She later worked in development and alumni relations at The Andrews-Osborne School and Hawken School.

Survivors are her daughters, Jenna (Brian) Markham and Melissa Rose; grandchildren, Trevor Cook, Addie Cook and Tessa Markham.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil A. Rose on April 1, 1997. Her parents, Frank and Eva (Auer) Rodenbucher and sister, Margaret McCandless Zeber are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery following the service on Thursday.
