Private services have been held for Francis David Southwick, 81, of Willoughby.
Mr. Southwick passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at his home after a long illness.
Born May 16, 1931 at the former East End Hospital in Cleveland.
He was an active member of Al Koran Shrine in Cleveland and ORCO Sportsman’s Association in Geneva. His true passion was belonging to the National Rifle Association. He also held an amateur radio license (W8OZF).
Mr. Southwick was employed at the former Antenna Specialists Company for many years.
His parents, Henry C. and Frances (DeJean) Southwick are deceased.
David enjoyed writing about himself, portraying himself as a practical joker, showing happiness and possessing a sense of humor.
He leaves his beloved cat, Cuddles Galore, and friend/caregiver, Denise Snider. He also leaves many other friends.
David was a very unique person; to know him was to love him.
