Mass of Christian Burial for Frank B. Culek, 96, of Willoughby will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor. (Please meet at the church)
Mr. Culek passed away December 22, 2016 in Chardon.
He was born November 27, 1920 in Cleveland, residing in Willoughby the past 70 years.
Frank worked as an engineer at Fluid Controls in Mentor, retiring in 1981. He was an U.S. Army Corps of Engineers veteran, proudly serving in WWII.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis J. (Flick) Culek of 72 years; daughters, Frances Carly and Mary Ann (Frank) Sinkovec; daughter-in-law, Joyce Culek; grandchildren, Christine (Brian) Klippel, Rebecca (Michael) Kinsey, Donald (Dawn) Sinkovec, Matthew Sinkovec, Amanda (Dylan) Wininsky, and Emily (Tom) Ostrowski, M.D; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Annabelle, Madylan, Evan, Savannah, Mason, and Eliana and brother, Joseph (Marianne) Culek.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Culek; son, Timothy Culek; parents, Frank and Rose Culek; siblings, Catherine, Rose, Leonarda, Kenneth, and Imelda.
Family suggests contributions be made to your favorite charity.
Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
