Frank N. Lake

Funeral services for Frank N. Lake, 94, of Mentor, will be at 12 PM Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
Family will receive friends 10 AM- 12 PM Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Frank passed away peacefully August 21, 2022 in Mentor. Born April 6, 1928 in Willoughby, he has lived in Mentor for 60 years.
Frank was a proud U.S. Army combat veteran serving in Korea during the conflict where he was awarded The Air Medal. He worked at TRW for 40 years, retiring in 1990.
Frank enjoyed boating, camping, fishing, and old Ford cars.
Survivors include his children, Sharon Buehner, Douglas Lake, and Brian Lake; grandchildren, Kevin (Carrie) Buehner, Frances (Greg) Jensen, and Christine (Matthew) Kary; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Lyman. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy L. Lake in 1998, his son-in-law, Peter Buehner in 2014 and his cousin, Bonnie Lake in 2018.
Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery.
