Freda V. Harris

Services for Freda V. (Arnett) Harris, 94, of Mentor, will be at 1 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM on Wednesday, prior to the service.

Mrs. Harris passed away Friday, May 1, 2026 at Mulberry Gardens Memory Care in Munroe Falls.

Born April 14, 1932 in Rose Hill, VA, she has lived in Lake County since 1952.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, traveling and was a longtime member of both the Mentor and Willoughby Senior Citizens Centers.

Survivors are her daughter, Tara (Joe) Lang and son, Robert Harris; grandchildren, Vicki Lang and Jim (Haley McClure) Lang; great-granddaughter, Johanna Longley; sister, Dorothy (Bud) Harvey and brother, Alfred Arnett. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, James, in 1995. Her parents, James Dallard and Drushneal (Pace) Arnett, brothers, Harry and Wayne Arnett and sister, Treva Yeary are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery following the service on Wednesday.
