Frederick J. Hague

January 2, 1942 — July 3, 2023

A Celebration of the Life of Frederick Joseph Hague, 81, of Hambden Township, will be at 10 AM on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Pastor Ernie Sanders of The Doers of the Word Baptist Church will lead the celebration.


The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at the funeral home.


Mr. Hague passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 at UH Geauga Medical Center.


Born January 2, 1942 in Bedford, he has lived in Hambden Township for more than 50 years.


He was a United States Navy veteran, serving as Missile Technician Second Class in the Submarine Services. Pastor Fred was an active member of The Doers of the Word Baptist Church, where he served teaching and preaching. He was active in the pro-life movement. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family, working in his yard, gardening, and helping others.


Fred was employed as a senior electrical tester for First Energy Company, retiring in 2000. He previously had worked as an electrical assembler at the former Addressograph-Multigraph Corporation in Euclid


Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Sandy (Branem) Hague; daughters, Susan (Todd) Brady and Andrea (Kenneth) Klinko; grandchildren, Ryan Brady, Alexis (Brian) Kircher, Cory (Faith) Brady, Tyler Brady, Spencer (Gina) Brady, Jeremiah Brady, Ethan Brady, Victoria Brady, Samuel Brady, Daniel Klinko and Matthew Klinko; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Miller, Tristan Frendewey, Oliver Kircher, Milo Kircher, Elliot Kircher and Nora Brady; brothers, David Hague and Donald (Carol) Hague and their families.


He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane (Quiggin) in 1973. His parents, Walter and Frieda (Krueger) Hague are also deceased.


Final resting place will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, following the service on Monday.
