Gail P. Beckwith

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Gail P. (Adams) Beckwith, 79, of Willoughby, will be held from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mrs. Beckwith passed away suddenly in her home on Sunday, December 11, 2016.

Born May 15, 1937 in Cleveland, she was a graduate of Collinwood High School, class of 1955 and a longtime Willoughby resident.

Gail was a devoted stay-at-home mom and sports fanatic; she loved the Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavaliers and attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. She was also an avid game and card player.

Survivors are her children, Michael (Dee Williams) Beckwith, Tricia Beckwith and John (Christine) Beckwith; grandchildren, Maverick (Pa kou) Carroll, Darryl (Autumn) Zuchelli, II, John Stillisano, Joseph Stillisano, Kyle Magon and Brett Beckwith; great-grandchildren, Darryl “Trey” Zuchelli, III and Hunter Zuchelli. She also leaves her son-in-law, David Reid; many nieces and nephews and their families as well as many friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Gerald H. Beckwith and daughter, Judith Reid. Her parents, Clayton and Alma (Pakarinen-Johnson) Adams are also deceased.
