Geoffrey Wise Bertagnolli

A celebration of the life of Geoffrey Wise Bertagnolli, 24, will be at 4 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 1-4 PM on Saturday, prior to the celebration at the funeral home on Saturday.

Geoffrey passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019.

Born October 22, 1994 in Cleveland, he spent his early years in the Cleveland area before moving to Gardnerville, NV with his mother in 2005. He spent his time between both of Ohio and Nevada until he was 13, when he returned to Ohio to live full-time with his father.

Geoff grew to know a lot of great people and spent most of his time with a group a friends that he considered brothers to himself. He was a graduate of Willoughby South High School, Class of 2013, and worked successfully as a man of many trades until he decided to return to Nevada in 2016. He soon met the love his life in 2018 and took her hand in marriage on August 10, 2019.

He was a very energetic, adventurous young man who never backed down from a challenge. He was strong, he was a warrior and fighter and refused to give up on anything; he was also generous, kind and loved with all of his heart, and despite his unfortunate battle with substance abuse, he never failed to be there for anyone and everyone that needed him. He always made it a priority to put his family, loved ones and friends before himself. He was a great man to the people in his life and has left us all with so many great memories that will never be forgotten as he lives in our hearts forever. This tribute to Geoffrey was written by his friend, Marty Vitantonio Maver.

Geoff is survived by his wife, Nikki; his father, Dwayne (Cindy) Bertagnolli and mother, Jane (Randy) Besaw; his brother, Chase and grandmother, Mildred Bertagnolli. He also leaves his blended family, Kaitlin, Brandon, Lauren Oriti.

Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
