George Lee Dawson

November 10, 1951 — January 22, 2021

Funeral service for George L. Dawson Sr., 69, of Mentor, will be 10 AM Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
Family will receive friends 5-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Social distancing protocols will be enforced and masks are required.
George passed away January 22, 2021 in Willoughby. Born November 10, 1951 in Painesville, he lived in Mentor the past 37 years.
He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Carla M. (Jablonski) Dawson; son, Carl J. Dawson; granddaughter, Carlie L. Dawson; brother, Jim Dawson; sisters, Vickie (Jim) Young and Candy (Jeff) Goglin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George O. and Helen (Lago) Dawson.
Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp.
