Services for Georgia M. “Billie” Bistrican, 83, of Eastlake, will be at 10 AM on Monday, March 3, 2014 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
Mrs. Bistrican passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
Born February 22, 1931 in Cleveland, she had lived in Eastlake for the past 45 years.
She enjoyed gambling, spending time with family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed life and was loved by many.
Mrs. Bistrican was employed as a bartender during the morning hours at Jeanne’s Joynt in Eastlake and previously worked at Miltronics in Painesville Township and the former Dalton Industries in Willoughby.
Survivors are her children, Jeanne Kinney and Connie (Scott) Blaker, both of Eastlake and Kathy (Gary) Horcharik of Warren; grandchildren, Matthew Blaker, Amanda (James) Dill and Jeffrey Dill; great grandchildren, Jordan and Jacob; sister, Evelyn Beach of Mentor and brother-in-law, Tony Ruta of Madison. She also leaves her best friend, Diana Russian of Painesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bistrican; her parents, John and Anna (Davidson) Bliss and sisters, Jean Smiley and Lillian “Beb” Ruta.
The family will receive friends from 1-5 PM on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the funeral home. The Rev. MIchael A. Currier of the Body of Christ Community will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens. Online obituary at www.davisbabcock.com
