Funeral services for Geraldine M. Schwartz, 93, of Kirtland, will be at 10 AM on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 37728 Euclid Ave., Willoughby

Mrs. Schwartz passed away June 19, 2013 at her home.

She was born March 30, 1920 in Berea, to William and Marie Eckert Klink. Geraldine was raised in Berea and was a graduate of Berea High School.

Geraldine married William Schwartz in November, 1948 and they were married for 45 years before his death in 1994. They lived in Wakeman until 1960 and she has been a Kirtland resident since.

Mrs. Schwartz enjoyed sewing, baking and gardening and was very devoted to volunteer work at church, including 53 years as a Sunday School teacher.

She is survived by children Tim (Kathleen Matyjasik) Schwartz of Mentor, Jeffrey Schwartz of Euclid and Joanne (Charles) Sutton of Kirtland, grandchildren, Jamie (Mirko) Matic, Matthew Sutton, Bryan (Jillian) Sutton, Samantha Sutton, Benjamin Schwartz, Michael Schwartz, Suzanne Hrwatzki and Steve Schwartz, as well as 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, husband William Schwartz and a brother, William Klink.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 until 5 PM at the Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
