Gloria C. Davis

Gloria Faye (Colbrunn) Davis, 90, passed away August 4, 2022, in Willoughby. Born October 15, 1931, in Huntington, West Virginia, she was a resident of Euclid before moving to Willoughby.
Gloria married the love of her life, Charles Allen Davis on November 30, 1974. She affectionally referred to him as her “Charlie”, they were blessed to spend 37 wonderful years together.
Gloria was a member of Lakeshore Christian Church and was always willing to utilize her baking talents as part of the Membership Committee. She also served as a Trustee, Deacon and Deaconess, as well as serving on the Music and Worship Committee. She was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Euclid, where she was a chaplain. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 20 years and at Euclid Hospital and Lake West Hospital for 9 years. Gloria was also an avid supporter of the Lake County Captains baseball team. She subscribed to season tickets since its opening season in 2003, and rarely missed a game.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Davis; parents, Curtiss and Hilda Colbrunn; and her brother, Allen Lee Ferrell.
Gloria was a beautiful and devoted woman that will be loved and cherished by her many close friends and church family.
Funeral services for Gloria Davis, will be Monday, August 22, 2022, at 1:00pm at Lakeshore Christian Church, 28010 Lakeshore Blvd., Euclid. Friends may pay their respect from 12:00pm to 1:00pm Monday, at the church prior to the service.
Private burial will be held in Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg.
