Grace Yoho

Graveside services and interment for Grace S. (Saler) Yoho, 85, of Mentor, will be at 11 AM Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Mentor Cemetery, 6881 Hopkins Road, Mentor. Please meet at section 34. Mrs. Yoho passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at her home in Mentor, with her family at her side. Born April 5, 1927 in Kantner, Pennsylvania, she was a longtime Lake County resident. She loved spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to read, travel and enjoyed watching birds. Mrs. Yoho was employed as an acquisition clerk at Mentor Public Library for 23 years, retiring in 1987. Survivors are her daughters, Shelia (James) Franklin of Willowick, Tannya (Leonard) Mullen of Eastlake and Yvette (Pete) Edwards of Falmouth, KY; grandchildren, Rebecca (Joseph) D'Arcangelo, Leonard (Marilee) Mullen III and Jillian Mullen; great grandchildren, Valerie and Jason D'Arcangelo and Gracie, Claire and Sam Mullen; sisters, Jackie Olsen and Linda Smith and brother, Larry Saler. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families. Her husband of 54 years, Hazen G. Yoho, her great granddaughter, Veronica D'Arcangelo, parents, Theodore and Gladys (Weyand) Saler, sisters, Bea Spellen, Dot Hayward and Lois Walker also welcomed her home to heaven. The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 9 PM Friday, June 8, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Inc., 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110-2502.
