Grant Seimon

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Mr. Seimon passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 at his home. Born August 25, 1929 in Uniontown, PA, he has lived in Willoughby for the past 48 years. He was a United States Army veteran, and a former member of the American Legion Palmer-Roberts Post 214 in Willoughby; United Auto Workers Local 1045 in Cleveland and enjoyed playing softball in many local leagues. Mr. Seimon was employed at the former Fisher Body Division of General Motors in Cleveland. He retired in 1987 after 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ellen Louise (Clemmer) Seimon; son, Jerry (Marianne) Seimon and daughter, Kerry (Bruce) Gravens, both of Kirtland. He was also the proud papa of Courtney Gravens, Brandon (Stefanie) Gravens and Grant Eric Seimon, all of Kirtland. His parents, George and Florence (Carpentar) Seimon and brothers, George Edward, Bobby and Richard Seimon are deceased. Private family services will be held.
