Gregory Paul Butke

Funeral services for Gregory P. Butke, 66, of Mentor, will be at 10 AM Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
Family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Greg passed away September 10, 2021 in Cleveland. Born February 4, 1955 in Detroit, he’s lived the past 37 years in Mentor.
Greg was a chemist at the former Diamond Shamrock, SDS Biotech, and Ricerca for 29 years, retiring in 2009. He enjoyed boating, salt water aquariums, guitar playing, and being with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Betsy J. (Balko) Butke and his children, Mark (fiancé Kim Cuddy) Butke, Michael Butke, and Lisa Butke.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Rita (Walby) Butke and his brother, James Butke.
Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery.
