Harry R. Bathurst

Funeral services for Harry R. Bathurst, 95, of Willoughby Hills, will be at 10 AM Friday, May 3, 2024 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Harry passed away April 23, 2024 in Mentor. He was born October 17, 1928 in Blair County, Pennsylvania.

Harry worked in the engine room on an ore freighter prior to proudly serving in the U.S. Army. He went on to be a maintenance electrician at Lincoln Electric for 36 years, retiring in 1997.

Survivors include his children, Craig (Marilyn) Bathurst, Keelyann Bathurst, and Steven (Fanny) Bathurst; granddaughter, Christie (Dean) Bossler. He also leaves behind step-children and step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris and his second wife, Dorothy. His granddaughter, Melissa Bathurst and siblings, Alice, Grace, Alton, and Peggy are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park in Mayfield Village.
