Hazel B. Perkins

Hazel B. Perkins, 95, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 13, 2022.

Beloved daughter of George and Ella (nee: Heritcsko) Perkins, dear friend of Michael Colarik, many cousins and friends.

Hazel was born in Cleveland on August 3, 1927. She attended Oliver Wendall Holmes grade school, Empire Junior High School, John Hay High, and graduated from Willoughby Union High School – class of 1946.

She worked for Millcraft Paper Company, Colonial Insurance Co., Mutual of Omaha and Diamond Shamrock Corp., where she retired in 1986.

She resided in Willoughby Hills, for 61 years when she moved to Willowick in 2004. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church (Willoughby) and Bethel Lutheran Church (Willowick). Her hobbies were gardening, yard work, traditional rug hooking and travelling.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Bethel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.

Celebration of Life Service for Hazel will be at Bethel Lutheran Church (32410 Willowick Drive, Willowick) on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11am, with viewing prior to the funeral service at 10am and burial at Whitehaven Memorial Park, 615 SOM Center Road, Mayfield Village.
