Herta Pretzlaff

Services for Herta Pretzlaff, 84, of Mentor and Concord Township, will be at 10 AM on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 37728 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mrs. Pretzlaff passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Governor’s Pointe Assisted Living in Mentor.

Born April 1, 1934, Herta lived in Cleveland, before moving to Lake County in 1977.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willoughby and enjoyed cooking, sewing and crafts.

Mrs. Pretzlaff worked for the Mentor School System in food services for nearly 20 years.

Survivors are her daughters, Heidi (Steve) Rostar and Erika (John) Kelleher; grandchildren, Shannon Ward, Sarah (Kevin) Brown, Carly Rostar and Emma, Evan and Kiera Kelleher; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Isla, Parker and Piper and sister, Linda Piller.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ingrid Frazier on November 6, 2016.

Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery following the service on Friday.
