Hilda Louise Anderson

Services for Hilda Louise Anderson, 83, of Willowick, will be at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 32410 Willowick Drive, Willowick.

Mrs. Anderson passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013 at her home.

Born September 5, 1929 in Cleveland, she has lived in Willowick since 1937.

She was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Willowick, where she sang in the choir, and served as a Sunshine Girl and secretary in the Ladies Aid organization for many years. She was also an avid reader and a member of the National Honor Society during her high school years.

Mrs. Anderson was employed for several years as a secretary/stenographer at the former Euclid Road Machinery Company in the personnel department.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ted; daughters, Linda (Mark) Glover of Wickliffe and Nancy (Gregory) Wickline of Niwot, CO; grandchildren, Matthew Glover, Brenda (Ron) Laverty, Jennifer Glover, Gregory (Heidi) Wickline, Martin (Michelle) Wickline, Jeanette Wickline and Marianne (Jonathan) Stockho; 22 great grandchildren and sister, Arlene Nordquest of Salem.

Her parents, Nils Martin and Hildur Celina (Andersson) Lindberg and brother-in-law, Dean Nordquest are deceased.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Sunday, May 12, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby and from 9:30-10:30 AM on Monday at Bethel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Donald P. Beaumont will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Willoughby Cemetery.
