Hugo E. Del Rio - Navarro

Our loss is great, but God is greater. Psalm 121.

Eastlake, Ohio — Hugo E. Del Rio-Navarro, 87, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 8, 2023.

Born in Barranquilla, Colombia on July 31, 1936 to his late parents, Maria Navarro and Francisco Del Rio-Marceles. Beloved brother to Carmen Del Rio-Lobelo, Marlene Del Rio-Ramirez and Alvaro Del Rio-Navarro.

He is survived by his wife, Yaneth Rosales Del Rio; three daughters, Rosmy (Mike), Rocio “Rose” and Rosana, three grandchildren, Gabriella (Jayson), Mariana, Alex and a great-granddaughter, Jaelynn.

We will miss our father, grandfather and great-grandfather beyond words. We’re so very thankful for his life, his immense love for God, perseverance through very difficult circumstances, unwavering faith, his love for us girls, his family, his love of life, positive attitude, his joy, his incredibly hard work ethics, his strength to persevere, his ability to memorize Bible verses as a source of comfort, his acts of kindness, positive attitude of life.

We will miss his love and care. Our hearts are broken but we’re thankful he is no longer suffering and finally resting and made perfect in Jesus. To honor our father and respect his earthly wishes there will not be any public services to be held, only private. We would appreciate prayers!
