Funeral services for Iva M. Egleston, 97, of Painesville, formerly of Willoughby for 75 years, will be 10:00 am. Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Mrs. Egleston passed away April 28, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services in Willoughby.

Born October 22, 1916 in Wickliffe, Mrs. Egleston was a homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Alice (Robert) Smalley, Ida Caudill, Dorothy (Mohammad) Adomayakpor, Carl Lee (Hope) Egleston, Jr., Linda Haynes, Elma (Robert) Rice, Amie L. Rice, Mary (Leroy) Campbell, and Marjorie (Gary) Gross; 20 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great grandchildren; five sisters, one brother, aunt to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lee Egleston, Sr.; grandson, Carl Lee Egleston, III; three brothers and daughter-in-law, Betty J. Egleston.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp.
