James G. Fletcher

Memorial service for James G. Fletcher, Jr. , 89, of Mentor will be 7 PM Monday, April 17, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home. The Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2300 will conduct a brief service prior to the memorial service.

Mr. Fletcher passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 in Willoughby.

He was born August 7, 1927 in Cleveland.
Jim was a retired engineer from Caterpillar in Mentor, where he worked for 35 years.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2300 in Willoughby, and was a longtime Red Coat volunteer at Playhouse Square.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Edna R. (Stutz) Fletcher; children, Marilyn (Dave) Neace, James G. Fletcher III, Robert (Mary Verdi-Fletcher) Fletcher, and Susan (Keith) Ingle and granddaughter, Gayle Neace.

He was preceded in death by his parents James G. Fletcher Sr. and Hedwig Clark.
