Funeral services for James C. Garman, 92, of Willoughby, will be at 11 AM on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 37728 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Robert D. Schuler will officiate at the service.
The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM on Monday, prior to the service at the Church.
Mr. Garman passed away April 27, 2017 in Willoughby.
Born April 5, 1925 in Warren, he was a longtime Wickliffe resident before moving to Willoughby about eight years ago.
He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willoughby and a World War II United States Navy veteran. He was also a volunteer with the Clean City Commission in Wickliffe and was inducted into the Wickliffe Hall of Fame. He was also served as a scoutmaster with Troop 289 in Wickliffe for several years.
Mr. Garman was a mechanical engineer, most recently with Cleveland Range Company. He previously worked for General Electric and the former Addressograph-Multigraph Corporation.
Survivors are his sons, Dennis (Brenda) Garman and Daniel (Federica Pasquali) Garman; grandchildren, Dr. Amanda Garman, Sarah Garman (Bruys Henderson) and Leonardo Garman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene R. Garman on June 4, 2014. His parents, Charles and Jessie (Cannon) and sisters, Jane Conley and Susan Meermans are also deceased.
Final resting place will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
