Mass of Christian Burial for Jim, 88, of Willoughby, will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 37932 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby. Please meet directly at the Church.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Jim passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 3, 2022.

Born February 18, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a lifelong Lake County resident.

He was a devout member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Jim was employed as a quality control manager for 40 years with Textron and TRW.

He was an avid golfer who enjoyed all sports, and supported the Cleveland Browns through good times and bad. He excelled as a musician, played the accordian in a band, and loved all things Disney. A great meal out with family or friends at one of his many favorite restaurants made his week.

Jim was full of joy, always positive, took great pride in his family and deeply enjoyed family get-togethers.

Survivors are his children, Michael (Pat) Kuharik, Diane (Robert) Hofer, Nancy (Bob Gescheidle) Coburn, Jim Kuharik, Robert (Cherie) Kuharik and Donna (Zdenko) Krstic; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Shirley in 2019. His parents, Michael and Stella (Hartack) Kuharik, and sister Joyce Gaydos, are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township, following the Mass on Tuesday.
