James Wilbur Mcdonald

James W. ”Jimmy” McDonald III, 56, of Eastlake, passed away peacefully January 4, 2023. He was born October 26, 1966 in Cleveland.

Jimmy was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran.

He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed listening to Motley Crue. He bowled for many years with his buddies. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially being “Paka” to his grandson, Joey.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Marianna; son, Joe (Christina) Gorak Sr.; grandson, Joey Gorak II; brother, Brian (Crystal) McDonald; niece and nephew, Eva Bedell and Nicolas Scammon; many cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. McDonald Jr. and Thelma “Boots” Lang; brother, Phill Lang; brothers-in-law, Dicky and John Scammon and his niece, Ivy Bedell; in-laws, Nannie and Bumpa.

Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Friday, January 13, 2023 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. A military service will be held at 6:45 PM.
