Janelle A. Fyfe

A celebration of the life and leadership of Janelle A. (Brinkman) Fyfe, 92, of Willoughby, will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Members of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Kheedawee Court #6 will honor their friend with a brief service at 6:45 PM that evening.

Mrs. Fyfe passed away at her home on Saturday, November 27, 2021.

Born September 28, 1929 in Cleveland, she has lived in Lake County since 1956, most of that time in Willoughby.

She was a member and Past High Priestess of Kheedawee Court #6 Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, a member and Past Directress of Yarrum Ive #4, Royal Order of Jesterettes, a member of The Order of the Eastern Star, Urania Chapter 284 (also a member of the former Willoughby Chapter 202), a member of the Lakewood Shrine Club and a supporter of the Eagle Shrine Club. She was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother, not to mention an avid traveler.

Mrs. Fyfe was employed as a certified classroom aide in the Euclid Public Schools for 19 years, retiring in 1991.

Survivors are her daughters, Barbara Fyfe and Cathy Mattucci, both of Willoughby and grandsons, Andrew (Tina) and Marcus (Katie) Hanna, step grandson, Joseph Mattucci (Jenna), and step great granddaughters, Izabella and Gabriella

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William Fyfe, in 2008. Her parents, Chester and Adeline (Eddy) Brinkman and son-in-law, Pete Mattucci are also deceased.

Private interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Mayfield Heights.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to The Out and About Program, the 2021 Project of the LOSNA, Timmy’s Day Out at Shriners Hospital for Children Erie Unit or The Nutrition Program at Shriners Hospital for Children Erie Unit.
