Funeral service for Jay Dee Waddell age 67 of Mentor-on-the Lake will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Mr. Waddell passed away October 21, 2014 in Burton. He was born May 18, 1947 in Bulls Gap, TN. He was a U.S. Army Veteran .

Survivors include his sons Timothy (Barbara) Waddell, James Waddell and Jeff Waddell; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters Doris Waddell, Diane Sparks and Marilyn Rickerd; brother Rick Waddell.

He was preceded in death by parents Lloyd and Lily Waddell; brother George Waddell; sisters Carol Rowley and Theresa Lamb.

Family will receive friends 9-11:00 a.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment Mentor Cemetery.
