Jayden A. Dietrich

A service to celebrate the life of Jayden A. Dietrich, 22, of Willoughby, will be at 12 noon on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Grace Church of Mentor, 6883 Reynolds Road, Mentor.

Jayden passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

Born July 4, 2000 in Ithaca, NY, he lived in Willoughby for the past 18 years.

Jayden attended Grace Church of Mentor and was employed by Ward’s Lawn Care and Landscaping in Willoughby.

Jayden will always be remembered for his smile, his witty banter, he was quiet yet when he spoke it was with genuine intensity and wisdom. He loved deep, he was loyal and sincere. He was strong and a protector of his mother and siblings. He enjoyed playing football and basketball and started playing at a young age and was dedicated to his team. His mother was his biggest cheerleader.

Jayden enjoyed spending time with friends and family, he loved his family deeply. He was so proud to be a new father, ensuring he spent quality time with his son, playing, teaching and loving him. His absences, the void that is left from his passing, cannot ever be measured in words.

Jayden is survived by his parents, Miranda J. Dietrich and Rufus M. Lomax; his son, Adrien J. Dietrich; siblings, Beyoncé, Olivia, Abigail, Elisha, Nia’Mya, Cyahr, King and Yorhynis. He also leaves his girlfriend, the mother of his precious son, Makenzie, along with his maternal grandparents, Gregory and Joanne Hayden, of Berea OH, paternal grandmother, Barbara J. Barner of Raleigh, NC, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joshua Paul Dietrich, paternal grandfather, Rufus Marvin Lomax, Sr., and brother, Prentice M. Dietrich-Smith.

The family wishes to thank everyone in the community, first responders and people who did all they could to help along with many-many friends for their love, kindness and prayers during this most tragic and difficult time.
