Jean Hart

Funeral services for Jean Hart, of Willoughby Hills, will be at 4 PM on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

The use of masks will be required while visiting the funeral home.

Born on March 8, 1932 on a farm in Vanceburg, KY, Jean passed away on January 12, 2022.
Although a long-term resident of Willoughby Hills, for 55 years, she was always a “Country Girl” at heart.

She greatly enjoyed her flower and vegetable garden, canning and freezing many meals for the winter to come. She also always enjoyed baking for her family and if you stopped by there always seemed to be either an apple or pumpkin pie on hand.

Jean was a retired employee of the former The Dalton Industries Company in Willoughby and a long-time member of Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother and step great grandmother. Survivors include her children, Patty (Hart) Hahn and David Hart; daughter-in-law, Debby (Sutton) Hart; brother, James Thomas and grandchildren, Christopher Sutton, Emily Hahn, Morgan Hahn, Trevor Hahn, Madison Hart,

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Branford Hart and her son, Branford (Brad) Hart Jr.
Her parents, Robert and Bertha (Stamm) Thomas and her brothers, Johnny (Leo) Thomas and Robert “John” Thomas, Jr. are also deceased.
