Jean Alice Krauss

Services for Jean Alice (Daus) Krauss, 80, of Kirtland, will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby, followed by interment at South Kirtland Cemetery. The Rev. R. Dale Diggs of New Promise Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Krauss passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.

Born July 18, 1936 in Cleveland, she was a longtime Kirtland resident.

She was a member of Old South Church in Kirtland. Her family was her life.

Mrs. Krauss was a partner and bookkeeper in her family business, Krauss Garage, in Eastlake.

Survivors are her children, Jane (Jeff) Brown and John, Jr.; grandchildren, Greg Shendel and Julie Shendel and great-grandson, Trey Shendel.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, John “Jack” Krauss, Sr. on November 30, 2003. Her parents, Harry and Alberta Daus and brother, Donn Daus are also deceased
