Jean E. Masowich

Services for Jean E. Masowich, 93, formerly of Madison Township, will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2014 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM on Tuesday, prior to the service.

Mrs. Masowich passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Smithville-Western Care Center near Wooster.

Born August 23, 1921 in Wellsville, she had lived in Eastlake for 30 years before moving to Madison Township, where she lived for ten years. She moved to the Wooster area, where she lived for six years.

She loved crafting, knitting, crocheting, reading and bird watching. She and her husband Andy traveled to all 50 states and enjoyed their retirement years in Breezewood, PA and Blakely, GA.

Survivors are her children, Andy (Kim) Masowich of Williamsburg, VA, Karen Phillips of Madison and Garry (Karen) Masowich of Wooster; grandchildren, Caroline (Tim) Intihar, Mike (Elisa) Masowich, Amy (Ben) Shroyer, Tracie (John) Clemmer, Travis (Carrie) Chin, and Tyler Masowich; nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Masowich in 2009 and her parents, Frank and Luella (McPherson) Scott.

Private family burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township. The Rev. Paul Simonsen of Orrville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church will officiate at the services.
