Mass of Christian Burial for Jean F. Urick, 89, of Timberlake, a homemaker, will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 37932 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Fr. Michael J. Troha will celebrate the Mass.
Jean passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Hospice House in Cleveland.
Born January 16, 1924 in Shenango, PA, she has lived in Timberlake for the past 48 years.
Jean was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and volunteered with Meals on Wheels for many years. She enjoyed cooking, painting, ceramics and loved being with family and spending time with her grandchildren and attending all of their sports and activities.
Survivors are her loving children, Bonnie (Manny) Gonzales of Chardon, Jeffrey Urick of Fort Mill, SC, David Urick of Madison and Amy (Mike) Walsh of Concord; son-in-law, Ed Krevas; grandchildren, Alissa, Keirstan, Melinda, Adria, Jessica, Lauren (Greg), Vince, Amanda and Erin; great grandchildren, Helena Jean and Charlie and brother, Jack Bresnan. She also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Harold, on March 21, 2013; daughter, Lori Krevas; father, John Bresnan and mother, Frances (Thoma) Bresnan and brothers, Jim and Joe Bresnan.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township following the Mass.
