Jean L. Vaught

Memorial Services for Jean L. (Jarmusch) Vaught, 90, of Wickliffe, will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Christ Lutheran Church, 5555 SOM Center Road, Willoughby.
The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM on Saturday, prior to the service at the church.
Jean passed away December 17, 2021 in Mentor.
Born February 19, 1931 in Cleveland, she was raised in Willoughby and later moved to Wickliffe.
Jean enjoyed raising her family and was a proud wife and mother. She was the last living founding member of Christ Lutheran Church, established in 1954.
Survivors include her children, Claudia (Ed) Lawson, John (Susan) Vaught, and Sandy (Dave) Griesmer; grandchildren, Jason Vaught, Jordan (Alicia) Vaught, Kevin (Yasmin) Miller, and Natalie (Cody) Rogers; sister, Gale (Phil) Shaw; sister-in-law, Marilyn Jarmusch. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Claude “Bob” Vaught in 2016 and her daughter, Diane Miller in 2019. Her brother, Gary Jarmusch and sister, Janet (Jim) Currie are also deceased.
Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
Family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
