Jeanette M. Duffin

Memorial services for Jeanette M. (Mitchell) Duffin, 83, of Eastlake, will be at 2 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Fr. Steven H. Breck of Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Saturday, prior to the service.

The use of masks will be required while visiting the funeral home.

Mrs. Duffin passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Born June 16, 1938 in Scotland, she has lived in Eastlake since 1958.

She enjoyed sewing, dancing, traveling (visiting Scotland) and taking cruises.

Mrs. Duffin was employed as a custodian at North High School in Eastlake.

Survivors are her husband of 62 years, Edward C. Duffin; children, Maureen (Bruce) Knight and Brian (Kimberly) Duffin; grandchildren, Jennifer Knight, Bruce (Nicole) Knight, Jr. and Jake Edward Knight; great-granddaughter, Lillian Belle and siblings, Isabel, Alexander, Cathie, Margaret, Helen and William. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Margaret (Salmond) Mitchell and siblings, James, George, John, Jessie and Robert.
