Jeannie (Jean) Lago

Private family services have been held for Jeannie (Jean) Lago, 91, of Eastlake.

Mrs. Lago passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Heartland of Willoughby.

Born August 24, 1926 in Belfast, Ireland, she has lived in Lake County for the past 73 years.

Survivors are her grandchildren, Vicki Lago and Steven Lago; brother, William “Billy” Gilmore and sister, Doreen Martin. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Lago in 1994 and her son and daughter-in-law, , William and Deana Lago. Her parents, Walter and Margretta Gilmore; brothers, James “Jimmy” Gilmore and George Gilmore and sisters, Phyllis Gilmore and Margretta “Peggy” Bohlkin are also deceased.
