Services for Jeffery W. Ashdown, 70, of Willoughby, will be at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Grace Church of Mentor, 6883 Reynolds Road, Mentor.

Jeff went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 2, 2022. “For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands.” (2 Corinthians 5:1 NLT)

Born February 28, 1952, in Garfield Heights, Jeff was a catalog specialist at Sherwin-Williams for many years. He was a faithful servant at his local church, serving in many areas of ministry. He loved studying the Bible and sharing Christ with those he encountered. He had rich prayer life and prayed alongside and for his wife, family, and others fervently. He was a loving husband, dad and grandpa. He also loved working on his boat as well as riding his motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Ashdown; children, Jamie Bruneau, Josh and Katie Hartranft, Kevin and Chelsae Pierce and Zach and Samantha Hipp; twelve grandchildren, Tyler, Jessica, Jeremy, Eleanor, Elliott, Lilliana, Vivian, Elizabeth, Colette, Margaret, Gretchen, and Jade.

He was preceded in death by parents, William J. and Ann T. Ashdown.
