Jerome D. Thomas

Services for Jerome D. Thomas, 84, of Eastlake, will be at 10 AM on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 9-10 AM on Saturday, prior to the service.

Mr. Thomas passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024.

Born November 27, 1939 in Cleveland, he has lived in Eastlake for the past 50 years.

He was a United States Army veteran. His hobbies involved, photography, travelling, history, hiking and gardening.

Mr. Thomas was employed as a chemist at BASF retiring in 2000 after 28 years of service.

Survivors are his daughters, Karen (Bill) Yirava and Brenda (James) Tankersley; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Will and Cameron Yirava and Seth Tankersley and sister, Jeanette (Melvin) Hennesay.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Eileen, on June 13, 2019. His parents, Theodore and Laverne (Frueh) Thomas are also deceased.

Final resting place will in Whitehaven Memorial Park in Mayfield Village.
