Joan M Boyd

A Memorial Service for Joan M. Boyd, 85, of Willoughby, a homemaker, will be at 1 PM on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church, 34201 Eddy Road, Willoughby Hills. An ice cream social will follow the service.

Mrs. Boyd passed away June 25, 2015 in Willoughby.
She was born May 6, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA. She lived in Columbus for 38 years, before moving to Willoughby.
Mrs. Boyd was a member of Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church. In Columbus, she was an active member of The United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd as a Sunday school teacher and volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House for 26 years.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, James W. Boyd, Sr.; daughter, Margaret B. (Mark S.) Warner of Willoughby; son, James W. (Deborah Welling) Boyd, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Carrie (Dustin) Wilson, Matthew (Jennifer) Warner and Megan (Jan Michael) Szyndler; great-grandchildren, Kila Wilson, Wesley Warner and Asbury Warner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman H. and Margaret Magee.
